Who we are? and Activity of the project

The Turkish Red Crescent Thalas branch is a non-governmental organization that carries out voluntary work in the field of youth. Unforgattable days with non-formal education project is an erasmus + youth exchange project designed to promote non-formal education methods, disseminate these methods and apply these methods on 4 different disadvantaged groups. The project "Unforgatable days with non-formal education" aims to help young people learn and develop the four methods of psychodrama, illustration, pantomime, empathy and imagination in the process of project activity and transform them into a cultural activity on the international level With 4 different disadvantaged target groups, it aims to apply the common education to the youth in the region with power and to create awareness through unforgettable days with them. The target population in the project is children with disavantaged, individuals with Down syndrome, elderly people and young people with hearing impairments.
Three main activities will be carried out throughout the project. The first activity covers the definition of non-formal education of participants. In this activity the participants will practically recognize the methods of pantomime, illustration, psychodrama and imagination. In the other main activity of the project, the participants will learn the target groups, the concepts of discrimination and social inclusion with group work, interactive methods and speakers' presentations. With this activity, participants will have information about
individuals with Down's syndrome, people with disabilities, children in love homes, and the psychology of communication and groups that need to be established with the elderly. In the final main activity of the project, the participants apply the non-formal education methods together with the target audience.
The conclusion of this project will be to increase the prevalence of the concept of non-formal education locally, to make more use of non-formal education in the inclusion of the disadvantaged groups involved in the project, the realization of social inclusion practices in intercultural dialogue and strengthening of intercultural dialogue and discrimination,The effects are anticipated as a result of creating
